What’s a mini session?
Mini sessions are just that — mini! They are 15 minutes long in comparison to a full 1 hour session. Many people like to schedule mini sessions to use the photos for their holiday cards, but it’s also a great opportunity to have cute new photos in general!

How many people can be included in a mini session?
Mini sessions are designated for immediate families and couples. If you would like to book a session with extended family or have a large immediate family (more than 6 people), I would recommend a full photo session, or two mini-sessions back to back to ensure enough portrait time for everyone. Feel free to send me an email prior to booking if you have questions!

What about pets?

I totally understand how much pets are a part of the family and they are always welcome! Please let me know at the time of booking and be sure to bring a leash, some treats, and a squeaky toy to keep your pet’s attention. Some location do not allow pet so please check before booking.

How many images will I receive and what’s the turnaround time?
You will receive 5 high resolution images delivered in an online gallery within 1 week after your session.

Can I print my images?

Yes! You’ll be able download the high resolution images from your gallery and print them anywhere you’d like!

How long will be my online photo gallery available?

Your gallery will be posted for 1 month.

Can we change outfits?

Since our time together is more limited during mini sessions, there will not be an opportunity for outfit changes.

What if my child doesn’t cooperate?
The best advice I can give to parents during a session is to keep smiling and try not to stress — I have lots of tricks up my sleeve and the less pressure your child feels to perform or smile on command the more relaxed they will be.

When should we arrive to our mini session?

Please plan on arriving at least 10-15 minutes before your scheduled session time. However, please wait near your car until it is your session time so you don’t intervene with another session. Sessions are booked back-to-back with very little wiggle room between sessions. If you are late, I will not be able to extend your session time as it will impede on another client’s time.

What if we’re running late to our mini session?
If you are more than 10 minutes late to your scheduled session, your session will be voided and will have to be rescheduled and credited towards a different session. Your session coverage will begin at your scheduled start time, so the longer you’re late, the shorter amount of time you have in front of the camera. There will be no refunds for missed or late mini sessions.

What if it rains?
If mini sessions have to be rescheduled due to rain, I will email, text, or call you the night before your session with a different available day. If for some reason you cannot make it and you cancel with more than 24 hours notice, you can use the credit towards a future session. There will be no refunds for any mini session purchase.

What is your cancellation policy?
All sales are final and payment is non-refundable. Please make sure to double check prior to booking that you are available on the date, time, and location you select. If you cancel with more than 24 hours notice you can use the credit towards a future session.

Can I give or sell my mini session to someone else?

Absolutely! You can gift or sell your mini session if you are unable to attend. Please make sure to contact me and let me know.

What COVID-19 precautions will you be taking?
I am happy to wear a mask if it makes you feel more comfortable during your session! Since mini sessions are held outdoors, that also gives us more space and opportunity to practice social distancing as well.

What if we get sick before our session?
Please contact me if you or your family are sick, experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 10 days, or has been in contact with someone that has tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 10 days. Your session will be rescheduled.

I’ve booked the mini session! Now what?
Once you’ve purchased your mini session, you will receive a confirmation email within 2 business days with a link to the mini session agreement. A signed copy of the mini session agreement is due to finalize your time slot.

Can we choose a different date and location aside from what’s being offered?

You can certainly do that! Contact me for availability & details on customized mini sessions + full sessions. Please keep in mind my calendar is limited this time of year and you will want to reserve your date asap!
